|One of my latest fractals.|
Hi and thank you for visiting my gallery! I'm a self-taught (for the most part) Fractal artist who has received a lot of help from tutorials and classes at Visual Arts Academy. I began pursuing my interest in art in the late '90's. I actually began a bit earlier learning graphic programs in an effort to create a family "home page." This led to the 3-D and fractal world, and once I entered that world, I never left. You may notice many of my images have scriptures attached. Sharing God's word is very important to me but I try to do it in an artistic way and my intent is never to offend anyone but only to share what is important to me.
Prior to devoting my time to creating fractal art, I spent several years creating Windows desktop themes. I loved creating themes, and received a few honors during that time. My themes were published on EZ CD Creator 5 on their bonus CD that came with the program. I also had some of my themes published in a graphics magazine. One of my images has been used as CD cover for a world music-type group, and another image was used on a hard rock band CD cover (neither famous yet). Those were fun experiences.
On a more personal level, I'm married to a wonderful man, Mike, who has been the love of my life almost my whole life. We met when we were 14/15 years old. We've been married now 31 years with no plans of stopping. We have three great kids ages 24, 19 and 17. I am a stay-at-home mom full-time and an artist part-time (or so I like to think).
I hope you enjoy my artwork and if I can help you in any way, please let me know. I know I have so much more to learn and I appreciate all the incredible artists around DA.
Thanks for stopping by!
P.S. I do love llamas
More about Blooms !!!As you have noticed I got some Blooms going recently and they become very very popular So it happens I'm in a spring mood and feel like being showered with flowers - time to shed the heavy skin clothing into light and fragrant. Got amazing comments on the blooms as well - from dreamy, in my dreams full of magic to I wish they grew in my garden, can you make some prints and even could you make the Blooms into 3d-sculptures
All ideas and suggestions are very welcome - on short time notice I did added some prints & also a brand new calendar (with Blooms only). You can always add it to your wish list (so you don't forget the blooms when Christmas comes) or you can get it even right now, still 10 solid months left, and afterwards you can get the singular month pages to use as prints (I do that - good price for 12 artworks).

Khan71: Okay. so, basically, not everything will 3D out.
bubble, cylindar, and a few others work the best.
if you have a final transform, it will squash the whole thing flat unless you up the zscale.
are we wanting to know what each thing does? Or what?
Khan71: Okay. So. From what I've experienced and what Lu-Kout has shown me, the different things go like this (this will be in bald laymans terms, hope that's okay. Bear with a lady here.)
zscale: this is the thingy that makes it go into the 3rd dimension, or the z plane. you have x and y, which are left and right and up and down. z scale intersects that to pop it out. okay?
ztranslate makes it go up and down from the zscale angle
if the item has a pre in front of it, it calculates that part before it 3D's
if the item says post in front, it calculates the formula after it 3Difies.
rotate does just that, rotates around left to right, or up and down, depending on whether it's x or y . I'm not smart enough to have fi
